Ahhh...Calgary in Fall....

Fall is my favourite season! I just came back from a great bike ride west of the city. The view was spectacular! Snow capped mountains, green, yellow & gold trees in the rolling foothills and golden hay being harvested and rolled into bails on the farmers fields! The wind was even kind to me today (after a scary windy ride last week!). What a nice day, too bad autumn is so short in Calgary!

Anyway, after being back home for a week and a half, I am finally starting to feel normal again! I think all the travel over the summer really caught up to me this week. I have been seeing a doctor about my leg too, looks like it might be a stress fracture or compartment syndrome, both of which will probably require significant time off of running. I should have all the test results soon to confirm, after that I will change/make plans for the rest of the season.

Enjoy the beautiful fall day!
Lisa

Haven't heard from you for so long. Didn't get a chance to talk to you at Hamburg, but we were all cheering for you every time you past the crowd! You looked really strong on the bike and run at Hamburg too. It's unfortunate your legs was still bothering you.

Get well soon Lisa!
